We want readers to know exactly how Finance.net.in articles are produced. We use artificial intelligence as a tool, and people remain responsible for everything we publish.
What AI does
- Monitoring: software watches official sources such as RBI, SEBI and government press releases, and groups reports about the same event together.
- Drafting: an AI model prepares a first draft of a news article using only the facts from those sources, along with suggested headlines, summaries and links to related explainers and calculators.
- Illustrations and charts: some images are generated by AI, and charts are drawn automatically from published data. AI-generated images are labelled as illustrations and never show real people.
- Translation: when we publish in other languages, AI helps translate articles, using a fixed glossary of finance terms so the meaning does not change.
What people do
- An editor reviews every draft before publication. Nothing is published automatically.
- Editors check numbers, dates and names against the original source, rewrite where needed and add context.
- Editors decide what to publish, what to leave out and what each headline says.
Our rules for AI-assisted work
- AI is never allowed to invent facts, figures or quotes. If something cannot be traced to a source, it is removed.
- Every article lists its sources so readers can verify them.
- We do not use AI to imitate real people or to create images of real people.
- Mistakes are our responsibility, whoever or whatever made them. See our Corrections policy.
