What is Credit score?

A three-digit number, usually from 300 to 900, that shows how reliably you have repaid loans and credit cards.

Credit bureaus such as TransUnion CIBIL, Experian, Equifax and CRIF High Mark calculate scores from your repayment history, how much credit you use and how many loans you apply for. A score above 750 generally helps you get loans faster and at better rates. You are entitled to a free credit report from each bureau every year.
