Vaibhav Vyapaar, a non-banking finance company (NBFC), has opened a ₹42.10 crore initial public offering (IPO) on the NSE SME platform, with a price band of ₹51 to ₹54 per share. The Economic Times reported the issue as opening on 13 October 2026.
What happened
An IPO is the first time a company sells shares to the public. The price band is the range within which investors can bid for shares. Here it is ₹51 to ₹54.
The shares will be listed on the NSE SME platform, the exchange segment meant for smaller companies. An NBFC is a lender that is not a bank.
The company says it will use the money mainly to strengthen its capital base, meaning the funds it has available to lend and absorb losses.

What it means for you
If you are considering applying, the numbers reported so far are limited. For FY26 (the financial year to March 2026), the company’s income rose 48% and its profit rose 33%.
The sources do not give the lot size, the closing date, the listing date or any grey market premium (GMP), so check these in the official offer document before deciding. Issues on SME platforms are generally for smaller companies, and the sources here say nothing about their risks. This article is not a recommendation to apply or avoid.
Background
The SME platform lets smaller businesses raise money from the public without the larger size of a main-board listing. Another SME issue, Ravita Engineering Services, a ₹116.05 crore fresh issue, also opened on 14 October, with allotment expected on 19 October and listing tentatively on 22 October 2026. Those dates relate to Ravita and not to Vaibhav Vyapaar.
